Arnie is President of Financial Management Associates, LLC, which he founded in 1980. As a retirement and income distribution strategist for over 3 decades, Arnie has found that most clients have three concerns; (1) their financial future, (2) running out of money to live on, and (3) selecting the right advisor, who has ethics and integrity, to help them as they pursue their life goals as they enter their 60's, 70's, and beyond. To help clients meet these concerns, Arnie utilizes a unique time-segmented inflation adjusted strategy called NextPhase.™ The nextPhase™ strategy helps to reduce the emotional decisions people tend to make during periods of market volatility. Arnie's formal education and designations has given him the unique ability to help his clients determine the right investment risk level for selecting and accumulating their investments; and then re-evaluate their risk tolerance as they approach their decision to retire.


Arnie is an Investment advisor Representative and licensed as a California Life Agent. He is licensed by the United States Treasury to represent clients on audits, collection and appeal tax matters. He is a fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute and received special designations in Financial Advisory and Estate Planning Services. As a Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst,™ Arnie acts as a Fiduciary on ERISA retirement plans and helps businesses owners meet their fiduciary responsibilities to their employees and plan.

What sets Arnie apart from other advisors is that as an Enrolled Agent he can provide tax planning advice on how these investment decisions impact the client's tax return.

Arnie and his wife Nancy live in Fair Oaks, California. They have three children and two grandchildren. Arnie enjoys fishing, attempting to play golf and attending sporting events, especially college and NBA basketball.


Shannon McHenry

Shannon McHenry has been with Financial Management Associates for over 12 years, where she has served as an Executive Assistant and Client Relation Manager Coordinator. Shannon is a Certified Registered Tax Preparer and provides tax advice and preparation for our clients. 

Prior to joining FMA, Shannon acted as and Insurance and Patient Coordinator for several dentists in the Sacramento and Folsom area. 

Shannon studied at California State University, Sacramento where she majored in Business Administration. 

Along with her many duties and responsibilities at home and in the office, Shannon also enjoys spending time Running and exercising. 

Shannon is married to her husband Jeff, and they are the proud parents of two children Madisyn and Tyler. They reside in Folsom, California and on weekends you will find them involved in sports and many other family activities.
